The oracle of your grow room. Swiss Sensirion dual-beam NDIR for CO₂, separate Sensirion sensors for temperature and humidity, plus ambient light detection.
One device tells you everything that matters — CO₂ levels, temperature, humidity, VPD, light status, and light pollution. Deploy it and know your environment completely.
Encrypted SMS and telephone voice alerts when parameters exceed your thresholds.
Most sensors measure one thing. This one measures everything that matters — and calculates the derived values you actually need.
We use a Swiss Sensirion dual-beam NDIR (Non-Dispersive Infrared) CO₂ sensor. This isn't the cheap single-beam sensor found in consumer devices. Dual-beam means automatic self-correction and dramatically reduced drift over time.
NDIR sensors measure CO₂ by shining infrared light through a sample chamber. CO₂ molecules absorb specific wavelengths. Single-beam sensors drift as the IR source degrades. Dual-beam sensors use a reference channel to compensate — typical drift is just 50 ppm to 80 ppm maximum per year.
The CO₂ sensor includes temperature and humidity sensing on the same chip, but we use separate dedicated Sensirion sensors for those measurements — better accuracy than relying on the CO₂ sensor's built-in readings.
±30 ppm typical accuracy — precise enough to optimize photosynthesis and detect CO₂ supplementation effectiveness
Dual-beam self-correction minimizes drift — typical 50 ppm to 80 ppm maximum per year
0-10,000 ppm measurement range — covers everything from ambient (~420 ppm) to supplemented grows (1,500+ ppm)
Place in fresh air (~420 ppm) and trigger calibration from the app — no reference gases required
±30 ppm accuracy, 0-10,000 ppm range, 50-80 ppm/year max drift
Dedicated sensor — not relying on CO₂ sensor's built-in. ±0.2°C typical accuracy.
Dedicated sensor — ±2% RH typical accuracy, full 0-100% range
High-dynamic-range for light status detection and pollution monitoring
Many CO₂ sensors include built-in temperature and humidity readings — but they're often compromised by heat from the NDIR measurement process itself. We use separate dedicated Sensirion sensors for temperature and humidity, physically isolated from the CO₂ measurement chamber.
The result is accurate environmental data you can actually trust — not readings skewed by self-heating or measurement artifacts.
The device automatically calculates VPD (Vapor Pressure Deficit) from the temperature and humidity readings — the metric that actually matters for plant transpiration. No manual calculations, no lookup charts. Just the number you need.
The integrated lux meter isn't for measuring PAR — it's for knowing what's happening in your room when you're not there.
Light pollution during dark periods causes stress, hermaphroditism, and yield loss. The lux sensor gives you proof that dark means dark.
Light data is shared across your OMGROW system. When darkness is detected, all devices automatically dim their indicator lights — protecting your dark cycle from the equipment itself.
